The Black Mountain Falls was a secret retreat for the infamous prime minister of Japan Kakuei Tanaka. It is a popular hiking spot for many in Tokyo.

Temple of the Sandals is a pilgrimage for hikers. It is dedicated to the foot, legs and back. Hikers climb here to pray for health to continue their hikes around the countryside.
